Apparently there seems to be something in the barrens that the dwarfs of baelmodan have found, but wont share. He posted a picture of the dialog (Posted below)

He also stated:"There's no Quest that is mentioning this, the Excavator is just standing before the cave (He is involved in NO quest)
In Bael Modan itself there isn't a big change, it's under attack of Tauren and you'll have to kill Feegly (That guy who turned into a Trogg after he found the Tears of moons)"
